Copy – Doktor24 Group changes name to 24Health: “Marks a new phase in the company’s development”
Doktor24 Group, parent company of the healthcare provider Doktor24 and the healthtech company Platform24, changes its name to 24Health. The name change signals a broader focus and supports the company’s expansion in Europe. 24Health is today established in several markets, including Germany and the Netherlands. The subsidiaries Doktor24 and Platform24 remain under the current company name.
Doktor24 was founded in 2016 with Investor AB (the largest investment company in the Nordics) as the owner. In 2020, the state-owned pharmacy Apoteket AB became a new minority shareholder and in May 2021, the ownership was expanded with investment firms Stena Sessan and Ernströmgruppen. New capital of a total of SEK 400 million was provided, which in addition to an increased growth investment is used for further development of the digital platform and a broadened service and product development within chronic care.

Today, more than 3 million patient interactions are carried out annually on the platform and the company is the leading health tech actor in the Nordic market. Platform24’s solutions are used by almost half of the regions in Sweden and among the customers are both healthcare enterprises and most major insurance companies.
Doktor24 is a digi-physical healthcare provider with health rooms and mini clinics in 60 pharmacies across Sweden. Together with Apoteket AB, a digital blood pressure treatment was recently launched, the first in a series of planned health services aimed at the care of chronic patients. In 2021, Doktor24 has also assisted several regions with Covid-19 vaccinations and ran until recently one of the larger vaccination centers in Stockholm.
